Scottish High Tea: A New Evening Tradition at Pendray Tea House
Discover the hearty elegance of Scottish High Tea, a new evening dining experience introduced at Pendray Tea House. Unlike the refined Afternoon Tea, traditionally associated with light bites and delicate flavours, Scottish High Tea originated as a robust evening meal for workers in Scotland and Northern England. It features a satisfying mix of savoury dishes, freshly baked scones, and seasonal sweets—all crafted with premium, locally sourced ingredients that showcase the best of our region.
Served Friday through Sunday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (last seating at 7:00pm), this unique dining service includes a British-inspired three-tiered selection alongside a small à la carte menu. To elevate your experience, indulge in a curated selection of classic cocktails with a Pendray twist, or pair your meal with locally brewed beers and ciders.
Set within the elegant ambiance of a restored 19th-century Victorian mansion, the Scottish High Tea offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to enjoy an evening of culinary excellence, history, and charm.
